Lisa Bender

Lisa Bender is an urban planner who served two terms representing Ward 10 on the Minneapolis City Council. She successfully reformed Minneapolis land-use rules to legalize critically needed multifamily housing throughout the city, eliminated city requirements to subsidize car parking, expanded safer bike and pedestrian infrastructure, and passed laws to raise the local minimum wage and guarantee workers sick leave. This card, from 2017, was designed for door knocking during her campaign to turn out supporters for precinct caucuses. In addition to the card, I also designed the re-election campaign logo.
